ERASMUS
The Erasmus + Program is a new program to be implemented in the place of the Lifelong Learning and Youth Programs implemented by the European Union in the field of education and youth between years 2007-2013. It is mainly based on project activities but also includes individual activities.
What is the purpose of the Erasmus + Program and why is the program called Erasmus?
With the Erasmus + Program to be implemented between 2014-2020, it is aimed to provide individuals with new skills, regardless of their age and educational backgrounds, to strengthen their personal development and to increase their employment opportunities.
Erasmus + Program; education, training, youth and sports. The main reason for giving this name to the Erasmus + Program is to benefit from the recognition of the previous Erasmus program, which is recognized more publicly, strongly associated with education abroad and European cooperation.
